When the thunder booms above as you arrive in a taxi at the church with the bride and her father- a certain drama is added! We had downpours, sunshine, and more downpours-and the day was perfect!
John and Louise married at St Ebbes church in the centre of Oxford before walking with a snake of guests behind them to get on their boat which would take them to the reception. A half hour trip down the river and through the locks was the most brilliant way for John and Louise to spend some time together and chat about their favourite aspects of the service.
The Perch (where we disembarked!) is a riverside pub surrounded by meadows and gorgeous gardens. The marquee was filled with olive trees and lovely personal details that must have taken a lot of thought and ages to put together so beautifully!
Thanks to John and Lou for having us snap away (it is always a huge complement/slightly nerveracking to be chosen by someone who has photographed many a wedding themselves!) Your day was BEAUT!
