Wedding: Claire & Frank

I've been meaning to blog this beaut Liverpool wedding for almost a year now! Better late than never though eh? Claire & Frank got married last summer at St George's Hall and then headed over to one of the oldest buildings in Liverpool's city centre which is now a centre for contemporary arts...the Bluecoat.

When I met with Claire & Frank prior to the wedding, we decided it would be fun to capture Liverpool's industrial vibes as well as the lovely old buildings that their ceremony and celebrations were in. If you follow my work you will notice that I am a massive fan of this and often seek out disused lorry loading bays or old brick streets to photograph in. So I had a lot of fun!

Thanks to Claire & Frank for inviting us to share their day, and for sharing my love of alternative wedding portrait locations! x

Pre-shoot: Hannah & Oli

One of the best bits about my job is the way it has provided opportunities to reconnect with old friends who I haven't or spent any real time with in ages. It was so lovely to hear from my old school friend and rowing buddy Hannah when she got engaged to Oli and a privilege to be asked to photograph their wedding this summer.  Thom and I went up to stay with Hannah & Oli last weekend in beautiful Perthshire, Scotland. It was such a lovely weekend of sunshine, walks and hanging out-and so nice to meet Hannah's man...we liked you a lot Oli!!!

Wedding: Jen & Joel

Last week I shot a treat of a wedding at Askham Hall in the North Lakes. Jen and Joel picked Askham Hall  for the impressive combination of the oak beamed barn (which Jen loved) AND the old house (which Joel loved)! It was really lovely to photograph an intimate wedding having photographed a lot of bigger weddings recently....Enjoy a taster of their day..! Thanks Jen & Joel for having us! xx
